Wandered in here on a stroll down Wellington. It was early afternoon so it wasn’t busy. The server was super friendly and helpful. I got a small Stanz poutine, which came loaded with toppings and delicious gravy - delicious. Even the small portion is quite big, the large could probably be shared between two, unless you’re really really hungry. Definitely check out this spot for yummy comfort food and a chill vibe. :)

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The pizza was absolutely perfect – crispy crust, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of cheese. 🍔 Amazing Burger Experience from Stanz Restaurant in Verdun near my house. Yesterday, I ordered a burger from Stanz and it honestly turned out to be one of the best burgers I've ever had! First of all, there was no delivery charge — which was a great bonus. But the real highlight was the taste. Absolutely incredible! The burger was juicy, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The bun was soft and fresh, the beef patty was thick, tender, and cooked just right, and the toppings were super fresh and crunchy. Everything from the sauce to the onions came together beautifully. It arrived hot and neatly packed, and the first bite made it clear — this was next level! If you’re looking for a high-quality, mouthwatering burger in town, Stanz restaurant is a must-try. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Normally, when I eat out, I take the time to choose a place carefully—read reviews, check the menu, make sure it’s worth the money. This time was a quick, last-minute decision, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a really disappointing experience. The $12.50 Caesar salad came with limp, soggy iceberg—not even romaine—cardboard croutons, fake bacon bits, and a few random strands of mozzarella. The dressing was bland, the whole thing just lazy. Now onto the smallest medium sized pizza. The bacon so tough and rubbery I couldn’t bite through it. Was it even bacon?? The rest? Totally forgettable. This isn’t about being picky—it’s about value and basic respect. If I’m spending my hard-earned money, the food shouldn’t feel like a punishment.

I recently visited Stanz Family Restaurant, and I was truly impressed by the variety of dishes they offer. I ordered the Chicken Broccoli Pizza, Swiss Burger, Half Chicken Plate, and Poutine – and every single dish was delicious! The burger stood out the most; as a big fan of burgers, I can confidently say it was one of the best I’ve had in Montreal – juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The pizza was delightful, with a perfectly baked crust and well-balanced toppings. The chicken was tender, perfectly cooked, and had no overpowering smell – just great flavor. The service was also excellent – polite, timely, and very attentive, which made the experience even better. Another highlight was their dessert menu, which offers so many tempting options. I tried the Chocolate Banana Crepe and the Strawberry Milkshake, both of which were fresh and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, amazing desserts, and outstanding service! Definitely recommended.
